Would you like to

  • support new car design for inboard and outboard suspension specifications?
  • support, coordinate and analyse, car tests on rigs as well as car component testing?
  • support aero development from the vehicle dynamics side with the use of the simulation tools?
  • contribute to further process optimisation converging to best aero/mechanical settings compromise definition for each track?
  • use simulation tools to optimize car settings and develop new solutions for further improve overall car performance on track?
  • support pre-event simulation work and post event analysis review within the Vehicle Performance Group?
  • support track engineering team from the remote garage during track events?
  • carry out in depth data analysis investigations and develop metrics to provide crucial information for simulation correlation and vehicle performance development?

Do you have

  • an education to master’s degree or PhD level in mechanical engineering or applied mathematical field?
  • extensive work experience in the field of simulation, suspension definition and car performance analysis (in F1 or other high-level motorsport) – 3 years minimum?
  • strong mathematical and data analysis skills?
  • good understanding of the performance relevant aspects of the vehicle?
  • ability to recognise technical coherences quickly and efficient approach to problem solving?
  • a high-level of expertise in Matlab (Python and C++ would also be desirable)?
  • strong English (verbal and written) language skills?
  • a Swiss work permit or an EU nationality and therefore meet the criteria for a work permit in Switzerland?
