Place of Birth: Oulu, Finland
Marcus Amand showed great promise from the very beginning of his karting career, collecting three re-gional titles, two Kart Mag Trophies, two Rotax France Challenge Finals and the Stars of Karting series title over a few years. At the age of 11, he went on to win the prestigious Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final. In 2019, the young Finnish-French racer was crowned European Champion in the OK-Junior Championship.
2021 saw Marcus taking a further step in the Motorsport ladder, making his single-seater debut in the ADAC F4 Germany, where he scored his rookie podium at Circuit Paul Ricard, as well as in the Italian F4 Championship. He remained committed to Italian F4 for 2022, pairing it with a couple of appearances in ADAC F4 Germany.
As a further push towards the ultimate goal of reaching Formula One, in 2023 Marcus joined the Sauber Academy. Supported by the drivers’ development programme, he made the move to Formula Regional European Championship.
