The Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team extends partnership with Additive Industries, adding a third MetalFAB1 machine to its headquarters’ facilities

The Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team is delighted to announce the extension of the ongoing technology partnership with Additive Industries, which began in 2017.

A third MetalFAB1 system was introduced to the company’s headquarters in Hinwil, Switzerland as part of the extension of the Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team’s 3D printing capabilities to metals. The machine uses a 3D printing technique that substantially improves reproducibility, productivity, and flexibility, and enables an efficient method of producing parts for a broad spectrum of applications.
