Team Quotes
Jonathan Wheatley, Team Principal: “Imola marks the start of the European series of races and an opportunity to benchmark both our performance and technical set up on a very challenging and unforgiving circuit. As we have seen from the first races of the season, we need to stay focused on consistency throughout the weekend: executing clean sessions, building on our impressive pitstop performance, making smart strategic calls, and giving both drivers the best chance to fight for points. We understand our priorities and what needs to be done.”
Nico Hulkenberg (car number 27): “I like Imola — fast, tight, and challenging and I'm happy that the European season is now starting with another challenging triple-header. We have shown glimpses of good pace this season, and now it’s about building on having that consistency throughout the weekend. Every session is important, and we need to keep improving, making the most of the opportunities that come our way.”
Gabriel Bortoleto (car number 5): “Imola is a track I have raced on before in other categories, but stepping up to Formula One is a whole different thing. It is definitely one of my favourite tracks: it has a great flow, and the challenge is something I enjoy. It is a place that demands your full attention – every corner counts. This weekend, I am focused on building on our learnings, staying sharp, and finding those extra tenths. I am ready to push hard and get a decent result for the team.”
